As we excitedly await the opening of Alice and Wonderland in theaters, it seems as if cosmetic brands have taken a liking to the movie; OPI, Paul & Joe and Urban Decay have all released cosmetics based on this fairytale.
The Alice and Wonderland OPI limited edition collection includes four different nail polish shades: Absolutely Alice (Blue Glitter,) Mad as a Hatter (Colorful Glitter,) Off With Her Red! (Hot red,) and Thanks So Muchness! (Red Shimmer.) Each polish retails for about $8.50, and a miniature set sells for about $10. Next, Paul & Joe's Beaute Wild Flowers Collection for Spring 2010 includes a few Alice and Wonderland pieces. This collection debuts on February 25th on Asos.com and will be available at Harrods on March 6th. It will be available additionally at Bergdof Goodman and other retailers in the United states. According to sources, the items in line will cost around £25 (about $35.) According to Nitrolicious.com, Included in this line will be limited edition tins containing Blotting Paper with mirror for shine control and refills, Lip Treatment in Sweet Milky Pink called Fantasy (pink set) and Sheer Orange called Daydream (blue set), that adds a hint of color and shine while conditioning dry lips. Finally, Urban Decay has debuted their take on Alice and Wonderland, titledAlice in Wonderland Book Of Shadows. THis is a very cute makeup box filled with 16 different shades of eye shadow, travel sizes of Eyeshadow Primer Potion and two 24/7 Eye Pencils. This kit retails for about $52, and is available for a limited time in stores like Sephora.
