Jil Sander Navy Collection

As revealed earlier this year, Jil Sander will be debuting a lower priced capsole collection (Navy Collection) later this year. Unfortunately, the collection debut has been pushed back to Spring 2010. Fortunately, prices of this collection are "less expensive than expected." Prices will range from about $125 to $1,000. Below is a preview of the collection. More information to come.

The good, the bad and the Gap

Remember those Pierre Hardy for Gap shoes that I "oh so loved?" Well... After a long effort of tracking the shoes down in my size, I was finally granted the opportunity to own my very own pair of Pierre Hardy for Gap wedges! Unfortunately, to cut the story short, I returned them because the wedges were WAYY to high for my liking and the sandals were a bit too intricate for my ankles. Anyhow, they were beautiful and most likely look fantastic on another's feet- just not mine! Below are photos from my short-lived experience with the Pierre Hardy for Gap shoes. They now rest peacefully on another's feet. Next time better luck?

*Thank you to my lovely foot model

Dear Readers,

I apologize for the recent "pause" in blogging. The school part of my life has almost completely taken over for the past few weeks, and I regret to inform you (and myself) that this "pause" will continue for another couple of weeks. I will try to update as frequently as possible, though! Thank you understanding and for following Shine Through Blog.

Sincerely,

Lilli

Chanel's Remember Now movie

I am slightly obsessed with Karl Lagerfeld's newest short video "Remember Now." For a reason I am unaware of, his knowledge of beauty, glamor and allure transfer very beautifully on screen. Actually, this ability seems to make every girl incredibly envious of the life of these models. What a life! Created for the St. Tropez cruise 2010 collection, this short film features models Freja Beha Erichsen, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Heidi Mount, Karolina Kurkova, Baptiste Giabiconi and DJ/Model Leigh Lezark. Although the video is "slightly awkward" and the models have a bit of a hard time with the acting, it is "fun" and upbeat. Not to mention, BEAUTIFUL clothing and people alike! Pierre Hardy for Gap Spring/Summer 2010 Collection- Available TOMORROW

Pierre Hardy's Spring/Summer shoe collection for Gap will be available in Gap stores and online starting tomorrow morning! To view this collection, click HERE! To shop, click HERE. Don't forget- designer collaboration collections usually sell out very quickly, so make sure to visit a Gap store or go online as soon as possible. Happy shopping!

**Update: I am incredibly confused... For some very strange reason, I cannot figure out how to purchase these shoes online! I have a feeling that they are only available in stores! I have a pair of the jean wedges on hold... Let's hope that they are still there tomorrow!

Preview of Payless Summer Collaberations

Payless is notorious for their designer shoe collaborations, which, surprisingly, have been quite tasteful in the past. For instance, the fall 2009 Alice+ Olivia for Payless motorcycle boot not only sold out in about three minutes, but it was also pasted upon every fashion magazine for sometime. This Summer, Alice + Olivia, Christian Siriano and Lela Rose are back with a whole new stock of shoes. Nitrolicious.com has posted a preview of the collections, below. Many of the shoes are already available at Payless Stores and online atPayless.com, while the rest will be arriving in the next few months.
