Proenza Schouler has designed an exclusive collection for J Brand Jeans for Fall/Winter 2010. These high wasted, graphic-printed jeans debuted at the Proenza Schouler fashion show this month during New York City Fashion week. The limited-time collection will be available in "exclusive specialty stores" starting mid-July. Prices are yet to come.
Currently, it is London's Fall 2010 ready to wear fashion week! Surprisingly, among my favorite shows so far has been Burberry Prorsum's military-chic collection! I am a big fan of the large jackets and coats, which very nicely layer upon simple chiffon dresses and thigh-high boots. Also, I LOVE the furry collars of the coats- it adds such character. I am not sure exactly what it is... maybe it's just because the simplicity looks so intricate... but I really like this palette for Fall! Included in London's fashion week so far have been Pringle of Scotland, Erdem, Christopher Kane, (who designed for Topshop) and Jonathan Saunders (who also designed for Topshop.) Many more designers from all over the world will be showing there collections here in the days to come!

Sonia Rykiel pour H&M spring/summer collection debuted yesterday worldwide! Apparently, it flew off the racks in Paris and London, as well as in the United States! Also, I had a reader ask me where she could purchase this collection online. Unfortunately, it is NOT available for purchase online. BUT, I am sure that it will be for sale on e-bay soon enough! To view this collection online, click HERE.
Tomorrow, Saturday, February 20th, 2010, Sonia Rykiel pour H&M will be debuting in 250 stores across the United States of America. Because this collection is only available in minimal stores, I would recommend getting there as early to opening time as possible! Good news: the Chanel Temporary tattoos by L'Oeil are available now on Chanel.com. These tattoos are being sold for $75 online (Pretty expensive... The Shine Through blog's main purpose is to educate and inspire those who love fashion. Because a lot of beautiful fashion companies are quite pricy, I search for deals or breaks for the 99.9 percent of the world who cannot afford a $2,000 "frock." The Shine Through blog provides information about designer collaborations, sales, news and fashion news, and promotions in a (hopefully) friendly and fashionable way. This blog, created by me, Lilli Sara, combines my love for fashion with pure facts about the industry: forming Shine Through.
My name is Lilli, and I am 14 years old. Recently, I have become extensively interested in the art of fashion and fashion photography. I am a bit "technically challenged," so please bare with me while I begin this blog!
