Look at This: Chanel Spring/Summer 2010

FINALLY! THE CHANEL SPRING/SUMMER FASHION SHOW HAS HIT YOUTUBE...KIND OF! BESIDES THE LACK OF SOUND AND THE FACT THAT IT IS BROKEN INTO PIECES, THE SHOW LOOKS LIKE A LOT OF FUN! IF ANYONE REMEMBERS, THIS FASHION SHOW TOOK PLACE LAST YEAR IN PARIS DURING PARIS FASHION WEEK. IMPORTANT STATEMENTS FROM THIS SHOW INCLUDED CLOGS (MY FAVORITE!) AND FUN TWEED PIECES.

ALSO, IT SEEMS AS IF THERE WAS A BIT OF AN INSPIRATION FROM COCO HERSELF... I RECENTLY CAME UPON A BOOK ABOUT COCO CHANEL THAT HAD A FEW SKETCHES. ANYWAYS, SOME PIECES IN THIS SHOW LOOK LIKE THE ONES IN THE BOOK!

Fashion and Flowers and Eco-Friendly Materials: Oh My!

H&M's spring collection, titled "The Garden Collection," combines cute floral patterns with eco-friendly and recycled materials! According to Nitrolicious.com and a H&M press release, all clothing garments from this collection are made of recycled and organic materials including polyester made from PET-bottles or textile waste, Organic cotton, Organic linen and Tencel silky.
